Alexandria Rugby's annual 6 Nations Youth Program Fundraiser kicks-off on Feb 4th at O'Connell's. Last season we raised $2500 through this event. We're looking to top that this time around to support the anticipated growth in the program this year. Come out and cheer on your favorite country and support youth rugby at its best.

The City of Alexandria Department of Parks and Recreation adult touch rugby league's spring season will start in early April. All games take place at Minnie Howard field, 3801 W Braddock Rd, Alexandria VA 22302 from 7-9 pm. More exact details here as we get closer to the season.

Touch rugby is a fun and exciting sport and a great way to get some exercise and meet new people. It is perfect for retired ruggers and new folks interested in trying out the sport.

Alexandria Rugby, in conjunction with the city's Department of Recreation administer a youth rugby program for boys and girls ages 6 to 14. Last year we were the largest youth rugby club in Virginia with over 120 kids registered. We fielded eight competetive touch teams (U7s to U13s) and our very first U13 tackle team. This year we hope to expand even more.

Touch Rugby is a terrific sport for kids. Besides being a fantastic physical outlet, rugby focuses on the importance of teamwork, promotes decision making and big picture thinking. More...
