Alexandria Rugby is partnering with the City of Alexandria's Department of Parks and Recreation to offer an adult, coed tag rugby league. Running now through early June, the league plays Monday evenings on Alexandria's new lighted synthetic turf field at Minnie Howard School.

The league plays by Irish Rugby Football Union Tag Rugby Laws, as this program has proven to be widely successful in Ireland. The games are fast, fun, safe and inclusive. Everyone runs with the ball and everyone can score! Tag rugby is a terrific form of exercise and a great social activity.

More details about the program:

• Matches played on Monday nights between 7:00 and 10:00
• Per season fees: $125 per team plus $25 per non-City of Alexandria resident.
• Teams play 10 matches for the season (1 per night per wk).
• Registration is ongoing. Players can register as individuals or as a complete or partial team. AR will find you a team or more players for your team as necessary.

The pitch is located just off I-395, near Episcopal High School and the major intersection of Braddock Rd., King Street and Quaker Lane. Map
